Cranberry Powder
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Cranberries
- 1/3 cup Water
Preparation:
- Wash cranberries well.
- Combine cranberries and water in high speed blender and puree until you have a mostly smooth mixture.
- Spread cranberry puree on an Excalibur Dehydrator tray lined with parchment paper to avoid staining.
- Dry at 115° F for 10-14 hours or until very dry and brittle.
- Remove from dehydrator and cool completely.
- Break into pieces and blend in a high speed blender or coffee grinder until fine powder.
- Use a fine mesh strainer and sift powder through it. Run any remaining larger pieces through blender again.
- Store powder in an airtight container.
